2018 - 2022: Chair (Co-Chair) of the FLO Network Regional Group Europe and Central Asia, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) initiative;

2001 - 2022: Active Duty Officer in the sphere of Border Security and State Security of Georgia, with operational and managerial experience such as:

Georgian Border Security Front Line Operations and Field Intelligence Officer;

Organizing and conducting bilateral and multilateral international activities;

Participating in the process of the Georgian Border Police reform from soviet military-style to the intelligence-led law-enforcement agency (in cooperation with international experts);

Institutional capacity building - Developing legal documents;

Operational capability building - Developing detection architecture for radioactive materials at border crossing points (including deployment of technological systems and equipment, trainings, SOP-s);

Operational capability building – Developing and deployment of border surveillance systems on the land border of Georgia (arranging Border operations management systems, staff training, developing instructions);

Security Analysis capability building – Development of the National and Border Security Risk Analysis System, including methodology, trainings, software tools.
